Meet Overview:
Longmont HS will be in session for the day, so parking is going to be tight. Coaches, managers, and non-competitors will be expected to remain in the stands or outside the infield during competition. The soccer field south of the jumps area is the main warmup area, and athletes will exit that area at the northeast corner, come to the hip number tent on the southeast side of the track, and will enter the track when the 1st call has been made for their event. There are porta-potties in the warmup area and the main team camp area. They have custom t-shirts for the top-3 finishers in each event. They will recognize those athletes immediately after the running events, and will be keeping track of the number one performance while working through the heats by inviting that athlete or relay team to hang out in the awards area until another performance tops theirs. For field events, once they have final results, they will summon the top 3 to the awards area to be recognized.

Wear your DRHS shirt at the meet to help support the team culture. Make sure to bring layers of clothes! It is going to be a long day so be prepaid for all types of weather.

Schedule of Events:
This meet will stick as closely as possible to the schedule, so please listen for calls, you need to be at the start by the third call. Please make sure to get to the meet 2 hours (1 hour for early events) before the time listed on the schedule.

Early Release:
Due to size + location of the meet we are excusing all athletes in the meet for the entire day of school. You will need to be at the meet 2 hours before your event. You can still go to school for a set period BUT make sure to account for traffic/parking/etc when planning your trip up.

Seniors – you should have already checked in with your teachers about what you need to do to take your finals since Friday is your last day of school.

All spectators are welcome to the meet! If you take any awesome pictures or videos don’t hesitate to share them with Coach Gysin. If you post anything on Instagram don’t hesitate to tag our team (@drhstf).
