No dogs allowed on school propertyParent Drop Off:
Pull into the main drop off circle in front of the school to drop off your athletes. You will then turn left to head back to the 3 way stop sign. Turn left and park at Bohn Park.
Car Parking:
We will direct cars to Bohn Park first, then into the neighborhoods north and then east of the school. Bohn Park payment is optional during the meet. Please encourage your parents/runners to carpool. Space is going to be at a premium. Most of the car parking will be a 5 to 10 minute walk to get to the course.
Handicap/Elderly Parking: School South Parking Lot
Concessions will be available. Please partake and support our Lions Booster Club.
Finishing the Varsity Races will require your slower runners to meet the 2-Mile lap time. "You do not need to specify “Varsity” or “JV/Open”. Just enter your full roster, and then you decide the day of the meet who competes in which race. The 4A/5A teams may enter up to 10 competitors in the varsity races, but these runners will need to meet the 2nd-lap time standard as well in order to finish. All other 4A/5A runners will compete in the JV/Open races which will not have any restrictions.
Fine Designs will be on site to sell apparel with this year’s logo on t-shirts and sweatshirts. They will be located behind the main grandstand adjacent to the concession stand. They also have team rosters so they can personalize your purchase.
Team Camps should be located on the grass around the northeast corner of the track on the east and north sides of the jump runways. We have 18 porta-potties located at various locations around the stadium and the concession stand has bathrooms. Thanks to Longmont HS, we also have a Water Monster on the northeast side of the track for your runners to fill their water bottles.
Spectators and Coaches MUST stay off the infield during the races. Please help us with crowd control. When we create space at the finish, it allows for a better viewing experience for everyone.
We will have a trainer on site should any medical needs arise. Andy Parker from OCR will be set up under the north goal posts in the white tent.
Starting Line assignments will be the number you see on the team list that will be available at packet pickup. I know we’re supposed to do a random draw, but it’s a lot easier for everyone when it’s alphabetic, and I don’t think it matters much when we’re getting ready to run a 5K, so that’s what we’re going to do.
Trash should be picked up in your area before you leave, and we’ll have garbage bags for each team. We appreciate your help keeping our facility looking beautiful!
